Have You Been Conned?
Who could have imagined that the ultimate effect of Reaganomics would be tax increases for the Rich? The promised tax cuts have not materialized for most rich Americans. The tax rates paid by people earning between $50,000 and $500,000 have increased nearly 3% forcing them to pay an additional $14 billion annually.
The new book "Conning the Rich: The Great American Fraud" by Stephen Rodnesky (BMES Press) warns that harsher surprises are awaiting the rich in the future. "Once again, the Rich will be caught in a squeeze play that ends with them paying more taxes."
The book provides a sobering look at one of the most controversial issues of
our time. Mr. Rodnesky suggest that "The Rich have a narrow window of
opportunity to correct the situation their support for those with simplistic
messages and hidden agendas have allowed to happen . . ."
